If you see us at your school, it means we’re “on tour”. Being on tour is just like you’d imagine for your favourite band, except instead of playing concerts we present shows about the latest in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
A typical day on tour involves getting up really early and driving to your school. We set up our big screen and multimedia system in the biggest space we can find because a Questacon Smart Moves show can be presented to up to 150 students at one time!
Once we’re set up, we present a fun, exciting and interactive multimedia extravaganza showcasing the latest innovations from around Australia and the world. We might even need your help for our crazy demonstrations. Don’t be shy to get up and join in, it’s the best part of being at the live show!
By the end of the show we’ll have inspired you to be creative and develop your own ideas. You may already have an idea and just want to know how to get started!
After the show is over and we’ve spent some time talking with you, we pack it all up and hit the road. If it’s the end of the day, we may even hang around in your town!

What do we do on the weekend you ask? Well, just like you, we look forward to the weekend because it’s our chance to enjoy life in your part of the country.
We love to take tours and look around so we tend to wind up in some pretty fun places like zoos, boats, museums, markets, snorkelling reefs, hiking through amazing countryside or even attending the local races or town shows if they are on. We also fit in plenty of downtime too and watch TV at night, eat and experience some great food and stay in contact with our loved ones back home.
A Questacon Smart Moves presenter can turn up anywhere and try anything! Check out our bios to find out more about us and see what we enjoy doing.
If there is something fun and exciting to do when we’re in your part of Australia we would love to hear from you!
